Deposits, lateness and the rest
The same rules for everyone, in the same words, before you pay.
Booking and deposits
Every first visit takes a deposit to book. It holds your time and goes toward your service. You pick an artist and a time on the booking page, and the amount shows there before you pay.
Cancelling and running late
Please give us 48 hours to cancel or move a visit. A first visit is a long block of one artist's day. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the visit may be shortened or moved to a new date, and the lateness steps below say how.
If you miss an appointment
If you miss a visit without telling us, the deposit is not returned, and your next booking asks for a new deposit before the time is held.
Children and companions
Permanent makeup is for clients 18 and over, and we ask to see a photo ID at the first visit. Please come on your own: guests wait outside during a procedure, and there are no children in the studio.
Patch tests and allergies
If you have reacted to makeup, dye, adhesive or a numbing product before, tell us when you book and we can arrange a patch test of the pigment. A patch test helps, but it cannot predict every reaction. We share the ingredient list of any pigment or adhesive we use, on request.
Redos and refunds
Tell us within a week if something is not right and we will look at it with you. The follow-up visit is where color and shape are adjusted, and we will explain what we can do and what we would leave alone.
Tipping
Tips are welcome and never expected. Nothing is added to your visit; you can leave one in person when you pay.
Running late
What happens if you are late
A first visit is booked tightly around one artist's day, so lateness has steps.
- 01
Up to 15 minutes
We start when you arrive, and the visit ends at its booked time unless there is room after it.
- 02
More than 15 minutes
We shorten the work so the next client is not kept waiting. If that is not enough to finish carefully, we move you to a new date.
- 03
A new date
Your deposit moves with you once. A second change asks for a new deposit.
Book
A rule you want explained?
Ask before you book. We would rather explain a rule than have you meet it by surprise.
